LAS VEGAS — The Bureau of Land Management today issued final plans for the proposed 155-mile GridLiance West transmission project in Clark and Nye counties, Nevada. The project would upgrade the existing single-circuit 230-kV system to a double-circuit 230-kV or 500-kV system.

If approved, GridLiance West, LLC, could construct, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission an upgraded power transmission line and new, expanded, or modified substations, switchyards, and access roads. Transmission upgrades would be built on the west-side of the Spring Mountains from Las Vegas to Pahrump and Indian Springs.

Additional information is available at the BLM National NEPA Register. Protest instructions are available at the BLM Filing a Plan Protest website.
