2026 Summer Quarter Special Recreation Permit Applications and Augmentations

The Bureau of Land Management Moab Field Office has issued an DNA and decision record that authorizes eleven new Special Recreation Permits (SRP) and augments three current SRPs. Environmental Analysis available for T TOPS 4 Pad 16 Gas Wells

The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the T Tops 4 Pad Gas Wells: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0133-E. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM approved two Applications for Permit to Drill for Koda GNB LLC (the applicant) to drill gas wells from the T Tops 4 Well Pad. The EA analyzed non-surface effects from construction of the well pad and associated infrastructure on TLA-administered surface, as well as drilling fourteen additional wells in the future for a total of sixteen. The project location is in Lot 2 of Section 4, Township 10 South, Range 21 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian (SLB&M), in the Natural Buttes Unit.
