BLM issues Decision for Yerington to Schurz Transmission Line Rebuild

CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management has issued a decision record for a categorical exclusion to amend an existing powerline and install a new service tap.

This project will provide power to a Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) facility located on BLM-managed land. The project addresses the increased demand for service at the NDOT site and underscores the critical importance of maintaining infrastructure reliability in rural Nevada.
