BLM issues Decision for Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way
CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management has authorized the administrative renewal of the existing Union Pacific Railroad communication site right‑of‑way (ROW) in Nevada. The renewal continues authorization of the previously approved communication site with no changes to its location, dimensions, use, or facility design.
The authorized action maintains normal, ongoing operation of the existing disturbed site area. No new construction, ground disturbance, upgrades, or maintenance activities are proposed as part of this renewal. The communication site will remain in its current condition throughout the renewed term of authorization.
The renewal supports continued operation of communication infrastructure consistent with prior authorizations and conforms to the Carson City District Consolidated Resource Management Plan (May 2001).
