BLM issues decision for Sky Fiber Internet
CARSON CITY, Nev.- The Bureau of Land Management has posted a decision record for a categorical exclusion to install a fiber optic line for Sky Fiber Internet to provide critical communication infrastructure between the communities of Yerington, Silver Springs, Mound House and Carson City Nevada.
These are part of the Office of Science, Innovation and Technology's High Speed NV Initiative, which allows access to affordable, reliable high-speed internet connections for homes and business use. This project is located on US Highway 50 from Carson City to Silver Springs and on US Highway 95-Alt from Silver Springs to Yerington, Nevada.
