BLM issues decision for Silver Springs 345kV Fold
The Proposed Action would provide for a 160-foot-wide permanent ROW and a 300-foot-wide temporary construction ROW to NV Energy to construct, operate, and maintain a 345-kV transmission line fold to connect to the proposed Greenlink West Project and the anticipated Nighthawk substation, as well as associated transmission line access and maintenance roads. Also included in the Proposed Action is geotechnical exploration consisting of vertical exploratory borings within the permanent ROW to obtain physical characteristics for final structure design.
The 30-day appeal period is from June 17, 2026, to July 17, 2026.
