Event Description

Join the BLM Colorado Gunnison Field Office and partners for a #NationalPublicLandsDay volunteer event Saturday, Oct. 4, at Dry Gulch! Volunteers will help to plant Mountain Mahogany shrub seedlings to improve forage for wintering big game from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. 

Vehicles must have high clearance and volunteers should plan to bring: 

  • Sunscreen
  • Water
  • Layers (for changing weather)
  • Pants and boots recommended
  • Hat
  • Gloves and protective gear
