BLM grants Coos Curry Electric Cooperative right-of-way
The Bureau of Land Management Coos Bay District approved a right-of-way grant with Coos Curry Electric Cooperative [DOI-BLM-ORWA-C000-2026-0001-CX]. The BLM is authorizing the utility to construct, operate, maintain, and terminate electric distribution power lines on public lands. The authorization also approves amending two segments of line from overhead to underground facilities to improve the reliability and safety of the power line distribution system. In total, the authorization covers more than 11 miles of power delivery lines, ensuring continued service to residences and businesses throughout Coos County, Oregon. A 30-day appeal period for the Decision Record begins on December 19, 2025.
