BLM Authorizes Wexpro Water Facility and Pipeline System in Island Unit
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Island Unit Water Facility and Pipeline System: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0125-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record approving sundry notices authorizing Wexpro Company (the applicant) to construct and operate a water facility and pipeline system to collect, treat, and deliver produced water from existing and future wells within the Island oil and gas development Unit (UTU63023X). The project location is on BLM-administered lands 36 miles southwest of Vernal City in Sections 2 and 11 of Township 10 South, Range 19 East, in Uintah County, Utah.
