The Bureau of Land Management Monticello Field Office has issued a categorical exclusion and decision record that authorizes the modification and extension of the existing Ruin Canyon Fence to a cliff line to provide a more reliable barrier to cattle, and to protect riparian and cultural resources. The project is located in the Indian Creek Allotment in San Juan County, Utah and is within Bears Ears National Monument.
