BLM approves Satview fiber optic rights-of-ways
ELKO, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management approved three rights-of-way to provide enhanced internet connectivity to rural Nevadans.
The combined three rights of ways will install 13.5 miles of fiber optic line along the Interstate 80 corridor between the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) Maintenance Station at Pequop Summit down to the Oasis Exit; between east of Wells and the Wells Conservation Camp in Independence Valley; and between the Carlin Conservation Camp east of Carlin out to the Battle Born Youth Academy.
