BLM approves saltwater disposal well near Vernal
The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the SWD 33-33-723 Well Pad: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0104-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will authorize a right-of-way to KODA Uinta, LLC (the applicant) to drill and operate one saltwater disposal well with an associated access road and pipeline corridor. The project location is on BLM-administered lands approximately 19 linear miles southeast of Vernal, Utah in Sections 28 and 33, Township 7 South, Range 23 East. S.L.B.&M. in Uintah County, Utah.
