BLM approves oil well drilling permit

The Bureau of Land Management issue a Decision and approved the North Diamond Valley Great Basin Unit 1-A application for permit to drill (Permit). The Permit would allow for the drilling of a single oil well approximately 45 miles south of the town of Elko. The Permit will approve 6.9 acres of new disturbance on public lands for the construction of roads and a well pad.
