BLM approves Minnie Pit gold mine modification
BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. - The Bureau of Land Management, Mount Lewis Field Office has approved a modification of the Phoenix Mine, located twenty-seven miles south of Battle Mountain, Plan of Operation. The modification adds 70 feet of depth to the Minnie Pit and will produce an additional 4,000 ounces of gold.
