BLM approves mineral exploration in Lander County

BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. - The Battle Mountain District, Mount Lewis Field Office has issued a final Environmental Assessment, Decision Record, and Finding of No Significant Impact for Nevada Gold Mines LLC’s Swift Exploration Project. NGM will conduct phased mineral, gold exploration activities in Lander County, Nevada within its approximately 21,160-acre Plan boundary.

Projects like this support President Trump’s Executive Order 14241, “Immediate Measures to Increase American Mineral Production,” boost domestic mineral production, reduce U.S. reliance on foreign minerals, enhance national security, and create jobs.
