BLM approves Bullfrog wild burro management plan
The Bureau of Land Management has approved a plan to establish how the agency will manage wild burros in the Bullfrog herd management area surrounding the town of Beatty in Nye County.
The management area includes more than 146,700 acres of BLM-managed public lands and nearly 10,500 acres of mixed private and other public lands. The established appropriate management level is 58-91 wild burros and there are currently more than 1,000 in the area.
Additional information, including the signed decision record, is available at the BLM National NEPA Register. For more information, please contact the Tonopah Field Office at [email protected] or (775) 482-7800.
