BLM announces fire prevention order for the Medford District

PORTLAND, Ore.—The Bureau of Land Management has implemented restrictions and prohibitions on specific activities and equipment to mitigate the risk of human-caused fires on lands administered by the BLM Medford District.

This order is effective at 12:01 a.m. PDT on June 11, 2026, and will remain in effect on BLM-administered lands within the Medford District boundary until further notice.
