BLM Announces Emergency Closure of Roads on the Bureau of Land Management Burns District, Oregon July 28, 2026
Hines, Ore.—The Bureau of Land Management has implemented an emergency closure of the Stinkingwater Access Road and the Warm Springs – Stinkingwater Road to address first responder and public safety within the area of the Coleman Creek Fire that is currently active on lands administered by the BLM Burns District, Oregon.

This order is effective immediately on July 28, 2026, and will remain in effect on those public lands within the BLM Burns District. The BLM has determined that this closure is necessary to enhance the safety of visitors and first responders in the vicinity of the fire. This order will remain in place until further notice.
