Missouri Breaks Interpretive Center staff offer free Every Kid Outdoors presentation, passes for fourth graders
FORT BENTON, Mont. – Missouri Breaks Interpretive Center rangers invite fourth grade teachers in communities near the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument in north-central Montana to schedule a FREE ranger-led presentation to receive Every Kid Outdoors passes for their students.
The Every Kid Outdoors program provides a free pass to all fourth graders in the country, valid annually from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31. This pass is valid at all federal lands, including national parks, forests, and monuments, like those managed by the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, and other agencies. The pass allows fourth graders to provide free entry for themselves, all children under 16, and up to three adults in the same vehicle.
The 45-minute presentation will cover local recreation opportunities, how and where the pass can be used, and information on the entities that manage these lands on behalf of the American public.
For more information or to schedule a classroom presentation, call MBIC staff at 406-622-4000.
