Commercial hunting guide permits authorized for Cedar City Field Office

The BLM Cedar City Field Office has issued the Categorical Exclusion and Decision Record for NEPA number: DOI-BLM-UT-C010-2026-0002-CX. The BLM received three Special Recreation Permits (SRP) for commercial guiding and outfitting of big game hunts on BLM-administered lands throughout the Cedar City Field Office and has issued a decision to allow these SRPs.

Paleontological resource excavation approved for Indian Creek

The BLM Monticello Field Office has issued an environmental assessment and decision record that authorizes a paleontological resource excavation permit to excavate and remove fossils from an existing locality in Indian Creek. This project is located in Bears Ears National Monument in San Juan County, Utah.

Fiber optic telecommunications line authorized for San Juan County

The BLM Monticello Field Office has issued an environmental assessment and decision record that authorizes a right-of-way for a fiber optic telecommunications line along County Road B110. This project is located south of Monticello, Utah in San Juan County.
