Set amongst rolling sagebrush hills and rocky terrain with excellent views of the Elkhorn and Wallowa mountains, this popular OHV (off-highway vehicle) area offers a variety of challenges for the basic to advanced OHV enthusiast. Trails and routes are available year-round for all classes of OHV's including motorcycles, four-wheels drives, and quads. A staging area with seasonal restroom, loading ramp, bulletin boards, maps, and parking is provided. Use caution when approaching blind hills and corners, and keep a watchful eye for other users, mine hazards, and livestock. All applicable Oregon ATV regulations apply. From Interstate 84 near Baker City, take Exit 302 onto State Highway 86 and travel east approximately 5 miles. Turn south on Ruckles Creek Road and proceed about one and 1/2 miles, keeping to the left, to the staging area on the north side of the road.
