Rogue River Closures for Boat Races
Date: Memorial Weekend - May 28 - 30, 2011

Whitewater Hydroplane Race - May 30
Where: Grants Pass, Oregon
The whitewater hydroplane race is sponsored by the Grants Pass Active Club. For safety reasons, boat ramps and the Rogue River will be closed during the race by the Oregon State Marine Board and Josephine County Sheriff's Department. All river users, other than the race participants, are asked to stay off the river. Viewing the race 50 feet from the water's edge and using the river at times other than what is posted below is allowed.
River closure date: Monday, May 30, 1pm to 3pm, from Riverside Park to Robertson Bridge.
