Rogue River Cleanup Day - May 16, 2009
Come clean the shoreline of the Rogue River and along the road, help remove noxious weeds and enjoy the Music of the “Missing Pieces” Band at the BBQ!
- Sign-up at 9 am at Hog Creek
- BBQ, live band, and prize drawing at 2 pm at Indian Mary Park

Rogue River Closures for Boat Races
Date: Memorial Weekend - May 22 - 25, 2009
Event: Boatnik
Whitewater Hydroplane Race - May 25
Where: Grants Pass, Oregon
The whitewater hydroplane race is sponsored by the Grants Pass Active Club. For safety reasons, boat ramps and the Rogue River will be closed during the race by the Oregon State Marine Board and Josephine County Sheriff's Department. All river users, other than the race participants, are asked to stay off the river. Viewing the race from shore and using the river on at times other than what is posted below is allowed.
River closue date: Monday, May 25, 1pm to 3pm, from Riverside Park to Robertson Bridge."
Please stay at least fifty feet back from the river during the races!
