How To Use The Corporate Name Change & Merger Index

All company names listed in this index are written as they appear on the certificate issued by the Secretary of State's office.

The first column in the list shows the "old" or original company name before it was changed.

The second column shows the "new" name of the company or the company into which it was merged.

The third column shows the date the decision was issued by the BLM Wyoming State Office. If the original decision was issued by another BLM state office, the date used is the one appearing on the cover memo issued by BLM Wyoming. The date the name change or merger was effective appears in the decision document itself, not the index.

The fourth column shows the BLM state office that issued the decision.

When multiple companies are involved in a name change or merger, each are listed individually.

Entries that are bold and italic, but do not have a date in the third column, are in process and a decision has not been approved as of the date of the index.

Number or odd symbol names are at the beginning of the index.

Hard copies of listed name change or merger decisions and supporting documentation are available for a nominal cost from our Information Access Section at 307-775-6256.
