BLM Kemmerer Moves to New Office

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Kemmerer Field Office will make a short move up the road to 430 N. Highway 189 in Kemmerer, Wyo. on Aug. 11.

Acting Kemmerer Field Office Manager Kyle Hansen says, “We’ve been planning this relocation for a while. We’ll start the afternoon of Aug. 8 and use the weekend for the majority of the move. There will be no disruption of service to the public or Kemmerer community.”

Hansen adds, “Our previous office served us well for many years but the new building will provide better space – for people, parking and equipment - and a modern infrastructure. We’ll also finally meet federal requirements for square footage per worker and building security.”

The 8,695-square-foot energy-efficient building can accommodate large meetings of up to 70 people in the conference room. Local organizations needing a meeting space are welcome to call the Kemmerer Field Office at 307-828-4500 to reserve the room.

Beginning Aug. 11, the mailing address for the Kemmerer Field Office will be 430 N. Highway 189, Kemmerer WY 83101. Phone and fax numbers and email addresses will remain the same.

An open house is being planned.

For more information, please contact Hansen at 307-828-4502.
