Runoff Closes Macaroni Bed Ground Road

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Worland Field Office announced today that Macaroni Bed Ground Road (BLM Road 1402) is closed due to several washouts from recent storms and spring runoff.

BLM staff discovered the washouts on March 30. The closure is located between Mobil Road and the old Ten Sleep Highway. Closure signs have been placed at both ends of the road. Oil field access at the north end of Macaroni Bed Ground Road is not affected.

Repairs will begin in the next few weeks following work on more heavily traveled roads.

Due to higher than average precipitation, there may be additional road failures throughout the Bighorn Basin this spring. Please travel with caution.

For more information, please contact the Worland Field Office at 307-347-5100.
