Workshop on Using Snow Fences for Reclamation

The Jonah Interagency Office and the Pinedale Anticline Project Office (JIO/ PAPO) in coordination with Davis Scientific LLC will host a workshop on the use of snow fences to increase precipitation retention on reclamation sites. The workshop will be held on June 18, from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and a field tour in the Jonah Field from 12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The workshop will be held at the Sublette County Weed and Pest Office, 12 South Bench Road, Pinedale, Wyo. (307-367-4728). Lunch will be provided by Davis Scientific LLC prior to leaving for the Jonah field.

Please bring a hard hat and good walking shoes. If you do not have a hard hat and would like to participate in the field tour please let us know, and arrangements can be made to get you one. Please contact Deej Brown, JIO/PAPO Office at or 307-367-5391 by June 11, to sign up.
