PAWG Task Group Meeting Scheduled for June 4

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office will host a Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) Cultural Task Group meeting at the Pinedale Field Office at 1625 West Pine in Pinedale, Wyo.

The Cultural Task Group will meet on June 4, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. The meeting will focus on PAWG recommendations for mitigation on a proposed powerline and assessments of archeological sites on the Pinedale Anticline.

The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land, the most of any Federal agency. This land, known as the National System of Public Lands, is primarily located in 12 Western states, including Alaska. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation.
