BLM Rock Springs 
Offers Christmas Tree Permits

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Rock Springs Field Office announced today that Christmas tree permits are now on sale for the 2008 holiday season.

The permits are valid for BLM-administered public lands in the Rock Springs Field Office jurisdiction with the exception of Wilderness Study Areas, campgrounds and picnic areas. The most popular locations to cut Christmas trees are along the Wind River Front and Pine and Little Mountains.

Permits cost $7.50 and can be purchased at the BLM Rock Springs Field Office, 280 Highway 191 North, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays through Dec. 24, 2008. For more information, call 307-352-0256 during business hours.
