BLM Seeks Public Comment on East LaBarge Project

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) office in Rock Springs will prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the East LaBarge Gas Exploration and Development Project. The public will be able to comment on the proposal during a 30-day scoping period that will begin on Friday, June 8, 2007, and end on Monday, July 9, 2007.

EOG Resources, Inc. has proposed to expand drilling and development of natural gas resources within Lincoln and Sublette Counties, Wyo. Under the National Environmental Policy Act, environmental analysis must be completed to coordinate with the project proposal.

Written comments and resource information submitted by mail should be sent to the BLM Rock Springs Field Office, Attention Jeromy Caldwell, Project Lead, 280 Highway 191 North, Rock Springs, Wyo. 82901. Electronic comments may be sent, specifying East LaBarge EA as the subject, to rock_springs_wymail@blm.gov.

The Scoping Notice is also available for viewing on the Wyoming BLM homepage at www.blm.gov/wy. If you have any questions regarding this project, contact Jeremy Caldwell at 307-352-0259 or Darlene Horsey at 307-352-0335.
