The Bureau of Land Management in Utah has an abundance and diversity of recreational opportunities and stunning landscapes that attract visitors from across the state, region, country and world. From mountain biking Moab to canyoneering in the San Rafael Swell; river running the Dirty Devil to OHV riding Little Sahara; driving Nine Mile Canyon to hunting in the Henry Mountains, BLM-Utah provides countless opportunities to explore 23 million acres.  

Outfitters and Guides 

All commercial guides and outfitters must maintain a current Special Recreation Permit with the BLM to conduct business on public lands. Knowingly operating without a Special Recreation Permit is a Class A misdemeanor. Before hiring a guide or outfitter please verify with the local BLM office that the guide or outfitter has a current permit. The hunting guides and outfitters listed on these pages maintain a Special Recreation Permit from the BLM and are authorized to conduct business on public lands. Hunting guides and outfitters operating in Utah must also be licensed by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Search for hunting guides and outfitters licensed by the State.
