Access: Gap Access Point—From I-15 Exit 6, turn north onto Bluff Street (State Route 18). Travel 3.7 miles and turn left on Snow Canyon Parkway. Travel 1.5 miles and turn right on Castle Rock Road (enter Castle Rock Subdivision). Travel .2 miles and turn right on Cascade Canyon Drive. Continue .1 miles and look for the trail access point on the left. Park on the street. 
Description: This short trail is used to access a network of other trails within the Paradise Canyon area. It is a rocky singletrack providing access to Paradise Rim Trail and Gap Trail. To reach the Gecko Trail, visitors can start from the Gap Trail beginning at the Gap Traihead. At 350 feet turn left onto Gecko.
Loop 1: For a 2.5 mile loop, take the Gap to Paradise Rim. Turn right onto Paradise Rim, left onto Halfway Wash, left onto Turtle Wall, left onto Paradise Rim, right onto Gecko, and right onto the Gap, which will return to the trailhead.
