The St. George Field Office maintains two campgrounds for our visitors: Red Cliffs and Baker Dam. Both campgrounds are first come, first serve as we do not accept campsite reservations.  Visitors will normally find accommodations, except in the busy season of April - May, and fall hunting season when campsites fill up quickly.

Other campgrounds are available in nearby Snow Canyon State Park, Sand Hollow State Park, Zion National Park, and Dixie National Forest (Pine Valley Ranger District). There are also a large number of private campgrounds in Washington County.

As an alternative to campgrounds, it is the general policy of the BLM that undeveloped Federal lands under its administration are available to the public for dispersed camping. For more information, please visit our dispersed camping website.
