Farlin Creek WSA
The Farlin Creek WSA is hilly in nature and contains primarily forested habitat with open grasslands on the south facing aspects. Aspen stands and meadows border the creeks. Opportunities for hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, and hunting are present.
The WSA is roughly 40 miles northwest of Dillon Montana. From Dillon, drive west on MT-278 for about 28 miles, turn right (north) onto Pioneers Mountain Scenic Byway, go roughly 3 miles and turn right (northeast). Take an immediate right heading east, stay to the left at the next two intersections, you will arrive at the WSA in about 1.5 miles.
Motorized travel is permitted on designated routes only. Be bear aware! Proper food storage and carrying bear spray is encouraged.
