Why would you use it?
Public Users
The S1 Mobile Map Viewer for iOS provides the public with a simple way to search and download authoritative BLM and U.S. Forest Service maps for recreational activities on public lands. Once downloaded to the mobile device maps can be used offline without connectivity. Users can obtain GPS location information and enable compass mode for navigation. The GPS will show the user’s location on the map and help identify land status.
