BLM Campbell Tract Recreation Area Management Plan
The Bureau of Land Management Anchorage Field Office is developing a Recreation area Management Plan for the BLM Campbell Tract.
The 730-acre Campbell Tract is an administrative site that supports the BLM Anchorage District Office and several other Federal land management agencies. In addition, the Campbell Tract is designated as a Special Recreation Management Area, providing year-round outdoor recreation and wildlife viewing opportunities in a natural setting for more than 450,000 visitors annually. The development of a Recreation Area Management Plan will help BLM manage recreation resources and human uses on the Campbell Tract.
Public input and strong community engagement are crucial to the development of a plan that meets the needs of users and helps the BLM fulfill its mission to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. We look forward to hearing from you during the development of the Campbell Tract Recreation Area Management Plan!
