Off-Season Use Permits
October 16 - May 14
Between October 16 and May 14, noncommercial wild section boaters are requested to fill out the following self-issuing permit. You can also obtain a self-issuing permit at the Smullin Visitor Center at Rand in Galice or at the Grave Creek Boat Ramp. There are no fees for the permits and no restrictions on the number of floaters per day. Trip registration will help the managing agencies track use in the off-season and provide a means for identifying who may be on the river, in case of emergency.
Print the Off-Season Use Permits form and fill it out before your trip and drop it off at the Smullin Visitor Center at Rand or Grave Creek Boat Ramp.
