Northwest Large Fire Map
The NWCC Large Fire Map displays active fire incidents within Oregon and Washington.
A Large Fire as defined by the NWCC, is any wildland fire that is 100 acres or greater, or has an Incident Management Team assigned to it.
Fire points and perimeters shown on the NWCC Large Fire Map are meant as general references ONLY. Information is updated as it is received; perimeters are usually collected on a daily basis for large fires. However, there may be gaps in the daily updates submitted to NWCC, and may not reflect the most current fire situation.
Fire points and perimeters are collected in the field by a variety of means, including infrared flights, and using GIS and GPS technology. Since data is not received for all fires, you may not be able to view perimeters of every fire.
Other layers are included for reference such as topographic, infrastructure, and land management designations.
