PLANNING YOUR TRIP

There are 34 campgrounds and a limited number of motel rooms along the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway. The Byway route is paved and open year-round. Elevations range from 400 feet to over 5,000 feet, with the snow zone usually above 2,500 feet from November to April. Call the Oregon Department of Transportation for current road conditions at (800) 977-6368, or visit their website at www.tripcheck.com.
