TRAVEL MANAGEMENT PLANNING WORKSHOP SCHEDULED IN WELLS
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Elko Field Office is hosting a public workshop
to continue the Travel Management Planning process for public lands in Northeastern Nevada. The workshop will be held Thursday, May 4, 2006, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Wells Fire Hall, 516 7th Street, Wells, Nevada.
“We invite the public to join us as we continue planning for the future of vehicle travel and multiple uses on public lands in Northeastern Nevada,” said Tamara Hawthorne, Travel Management Project Leader, BLM Elko Field Office. “This meeting is a continuation of previous workshops held in Elko and Wendover, and is one of many that we will hold in local communities. This meeting will focus on public lands in the Wells area. Travel Management Planning is an open process and we depend on public participation to make it effective. We want to know where the public wants the BLM to focus management.”
