The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will be conducting a Wild Horse and Burro Adoption in
Edinburgh, Indiana on 03/18/2016 through 03/19/2016
Adoption will be held at:
Hoosier Horse Park, Baker Arena, 7105 S Kern St, Edinburgh, IN 46124, website: www.jocoparks.com/johnson-county-park/hoosier-horse-park/.
From I-65 southbound: Take the Edinburgh Exit, State Road 252. Go Right (West) through Edinburgh. Cross over US 31 and enter Camp Atterbury (on Hospital Rd). AT Schoolhouse Rd turn Right (North). Hoosier Horse Park about 1/2 mile down on the Left.
From I-65 northbound: Take the Taylorsville Exit, US 31, and go North. At the 3rd stop light (Hospital Rd), turn Left (West), entering Camp Atterbury. At Schoolhouse Rd, turn Right (North). Hoosier Horse Park is about 1/2 mile down on the Left.
This is the best way to come with a trailer. From I-65, take exit 76B in Edinburgh to go North on Route 31. Travel about 4 miles. You will see a brown sign for Johnson County Park and Whispering Pines Golf Course. At the light intersection for E 800 S/Route 252 East, go West on E 800 S (a.k.a. Old Hospital Road). You will travel approximately 7 miles, driving into Camp Atterbury. Turn right (North) onto Schoolhouse Road. The Hoosier Horse Park will be about 1/2 mile on the left.
