Project Description:
Kinross DeLamar Mining Company has applied for a FLPMA right-of-way for an existing road and water pipeline. The road and pipeline were originally authorized under the 3800 regulations for a mining Plan of Operations. The mine is closing down operations, however rehabilitation is ongoing and this road and pipeline are a part of that rehabilitation. The Plan of Operations will be closed out, therefore, the road and water pipeline would be authorized under a FLPMA right-of-way to allow the mine to continue their rehabilitation efforts. The length of the road and pipeline is approximately 4,645 feet. The pipeline is buried within the roadbed. The pipeline is a 2-14¿ HDPE lines and was originally analyzed under EA-98-030, IDI-29233.
