Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to maintain or increase the sage-grouse population in the Montana mountains area of the Lone Willow population management unit (PMU) by improving habitat quality. Restoration efforts will focus on improving summer (late brood rearing) habitat in Bull spring and Fourth of July wet meadow complexes located in one of the most productive sage-grouse nesting and brooding areas in the entire PMU.
