Project Description:
The BLM proposes to build four small metal post, barbed-wire exclosure fences to protect fragile resources on public lands along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail near the community of Salmon, Idaho. The project would take place within the Lewis and Clark Special Recreation Management Area on the ┬┐Discovery Hills┬┐ bluffs, which border the east side of the Salmon River. The four exclosures would be distributed over an area from south to north of approximately 0.8 miles, each enclosing from 0.6 acres to 2.6 acres of land.

Discovery Hills, just east of the community of Salmon, within the Lewis and Clark Special Recreation Management Area. Legal location: T. 22 N., R. 22 E., Sections 29 and 32.
