Project Description:
Where consistent with the goals and objectives of the RMP and the Idaho Standards for Rangeland Health and Guidelines for Grazing Management (ISRH), the BLM authorizes allocation of forage for livestock grazing to qualified operators. The purpose of the proposed action is to authorize livestock grazing consistent with BLM policy and in a manner that maintains or improves project area resource conditions and achieves the objectives and desired conditions described in the Medicine Lodge RMP. The analysis is needed to address the operator’s application for renewal of the grazing lease, with changes in the authorized season of use.
