Project Description:
BLM is proposing to install a turn lane at the entrance of the Lucile Recreation Site located on US Highway 95. The Idaho Transportation Department required the installation of the turnlane on the highway as part of the stipulations/mitigation for constructing the Lucile Recreation Site, and the BLM has secured funding for the project. The turn lane would be constructed under a contract within the existing 200 foot right of way (IDI-4449) held by the Idaho Transportation Department as a Federal Aid Highway. Upon completion of the this project, entering and exiting the recreation site will be much safer. Installation of the turn lane is planned for completion in the spring of 2012.
