In Jan 2015 BLM adjusted the boundaries of the Anchorage and Central Yukon Field Offices to provide for improved landscape management of key habitats in western Alaska. As a result, the BSWI and Central Yukon planning boundaries have also been adjusted (see latest BSWI newsletter for more info). The newly revised BSWI planning area map is available below.
Interactive map interface that portrays lands and natural resource information in Alaska: http://sdms.ak.blm.gov/isdms/imf.jsp?site=sdms
The interface allows you to turn on data layers to indicate land ownership, boundaries, Wild and Scenic Rivers (WSRs), National Landscape Conservation (NLCS) units, Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs), easements, navigability, etc.
NOTE: The maps below may not be fully Section 508 compliant. If you experience any difficulty accessing the data or information here, please contact the BLM Anchorage Field Office at 907-267-1246. We will try to assist you as best we can. This may include providing the information to you in an alternate format.
