How to get Involved
As of January 6, 2014 all public scoping meetings have been completed. See the Meetings Page for details. Summaries of each meeting will be posted under Documents and Reports in the near future.

Public Participation Opportunities

The public will have several opportunities to become involved in the planning process. During the scoping phase, beginning June 14, 2013 with the publication of the Notice of Intent in the Federal Register, the BLM asked for public input on what issues the Resource Management Plan should address. The BLM held 16 public meetings in the region during this time. The scoping period ended on January 17, 2014.

During the public comment phase, the Draft RMP/EIS will be available for public comment. The public comment period will begin with publication of the Environmental Protection Agency's Notice of Availability in the Federal Register. The BLM will hold public meetings in the region during the public comment period. See the Timeline Page for the planning schedule.

As meetings are scheduled, times and locations will be published on the Meetings Page.
