How to get involved

The BLM planning process officially started with the publication of the Notice of Intent (NOI) in the Federal Register on December 9, 2011. The NOI announced BLM’s intent to prepare the Resource Management Plan (RMP) amendments and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and initiated the public scoping period. Although public comments can be submitted anytime throughout the planning process, the period during which public scoping comments would be received for consideration in the Draft RMP amendments ended March 23, 2012.

You may submit comments related to the Idaho and Southwestern Montana Greater Sage-Grouse Draft. The DEIS comment period will be open from November 1, 2013 to January 29, 2014.
