BLM Gunnison Field Office Plans Move to Spencer Street (12-10-13)

GUNNISON, Colo. – The Bureau of Land Management Gunnison Field Office has secured a new temporary location scheduled to reopen on December 23
Due to the fire at the BLM Gunnison Field office on 11th Street, the office at that location will be closed indefinitely.   BLM staff is currently available at the U.S. Forest Service Office at 216 North Colorado, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by phone at 970-642-4940 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  
To better support BLM customers the Gunnison Field Office asks that you call ahead for an appointment to ensure timely support.  During this transition period BLM’s goal is to be fully operational by early January at the new temporary location on Spencer Street. 
BLM appreciates the support of the community, the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service and the support provided by the Gunnison Police and Fire Departments.
