Acting BLM Wyoming State Director
Kim Liebhauser is currently the BLM’s acting State Director for Wyoming. She previously served as the Wyoming Associate State Director. Before moving to the state office in Cheyenne, Liebhauser spent more than 4 years as the Wind River/Bighorn Basin District Manager in Wyoming. She has held various other positions in the BLM, including acting Associate State Director for the Montana/ Dakotas State Office, National Program Lead for Land and Water Conservation Fund acquisitions in the Headquarters Office, and Field Manager for the Lake Havasu Field Office in Arizona. Liebhauser started her federal service as a high school student and worked for the Bureau of Reclamation and the National Park Service prior to joining the BLM at the Las Vegas Field Office in 2007.
